All kinds of fillings are available — from the classic anko (red bean paste), all the way to curry. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could even bring your own ingredients!

    • Finding Asakusa Guraku
      Look for the bright red gate! Behind it is Asakusa Guraku -- the Taiyaki factory that will be your workshop for this experience.
    • Make your original Taiyaki!
      After this 60 minute course, you'll go home with 6 taiyaki per person! Guraku is fully equipped to help you make them from scratch, even if you're not experienced.
    • Pick your Ingredients
      Guraku has a variety of ingredients; the classic anko (red bean paste), custard cream, matcha, and even some oddballs like kimchi and curry.
      Guraku's anko is made from the finest red beans, using traditional methods meant to fully draw out the flavour of the ingredients.
      You can even bring your own ingredients!
    • Time to eat!
      After putting the ingredients and pouring the dough, all you have to do is to wait. Fresh taiyaki is like no other; enjoy what you can, and take the rest home!
    • Great for Children too!
      The process is safe and easy, so it's a great experience for your children too!
    • The Beautiful Interior
      The interior of the store is traditionally themed, all the way to the lack of western-style chairs and the sliding doors.

・ Reservations are necessary
・ Customers can take home the taiyaki they created.
・ If you have any special ingredient you want to put inside Taiyaki, you can bring them in (no charge). Please bring your own items at your own risk.

[About participation of children]
・Pre-school age children may accompany their parents (3850JPY) at no extra cost. 
・For safety reasons, children under elementary school age are not allowed to participate without any guardian. Please be sure to participate with one or more parents.

[Chaperones and observants]
Although this form of participation is not encouraged, Chaperones (accompanying peoples who do not take part in the experience themselves) are charged 2,200 yen. However, the following peoples are exempted from this fee.
(1) Helpers to participants with disabilities.
(2) Traveling tour operators, photographers, interpreters, etc. who do not actually cook, select ingredients, or eat during the experience.
