      What looks here like a sparkling, juicy popsicle, is actually a bar of genuine soap! In this experience, you’ll be making your own design popsicle soap. Everything including the colors, scents, and decorations are entirely up to you to customize! Make a one-of-a-kind soap unlike anything on the market.
    • Where is the soap making experience?
      Head to where the soap making experience will take place! “JDSA Tokyo” is in a building only a 3-minute walk away from Akihabara Station.
      The white-based interior is filled with soap-making equipment, and will fill you with anticipation for all the colors and scents you’ll be able to choose from! 
    • What color will you make your soap? (10minutes)
      This experience will let you make your own popsicle soap using professional methods! Using the wide selection of samples, decide first what colors and scents you want to add to your soap. There are more than 50 options for scents alone! Pick your favorite scented oils and natural fragrances.
      Picture the soap you want to make, and take your time. If you feel lost, you can ask your instructors for recommendations! 
    • Processing the popsicle soap (60minutes)
      It’s time to put together your favorite scents and colors! Warm the soap with the microwave, and add them in before it cools down. Now, put it in the fridge and wait for the soap to solidify.
    • Your popsicle soap is complete! (20minutes)
      When the soap is fully solidified, your soap-making experience is complete. Every participant will take home 3 popsicle soaps, wrapped up beautifully at the end. The soap is so aesthetic that you’ll want to decorate your room with them!
      The acronym in “JDSA Tokyo” stands for “Japan Design Soap Association.” This store specializing in handmade soap was the first in Japan to establish the “Design soap” qualification. The store has a vast selection of safe soap ingredients and fragrances, and also sells a variety of materials, tools, and soap making kits. This makes it a great place to experience soap making, for those who might want to continue it at home!
