Jabuchi Falls

Jabuchi Falls sits on the border of Tsunan, Niigata and Sakae, Nagano. The 30-meter tall waterfall’s waters contain some sulfur.
Since visitors are not allowed to go to the basin, seeing the falls from the nearby observatory is recommended. From there, you can see all of the falls and its rocky surrounding.
The falls are especially beautiful during the autumn, when the leaves around it change colors. The view of Jabuchi Falls in autumn is painting-like.
The route to Jabuchi Falls entails some steep roads, so make sure to be careful and to wear comfortable hiking shoes.
