Ohno Kame

"Ohno Kame" is located in Niigata Prefecture's Sado Island floating on the Sea of Japan. It is a 167-meter -high monolith that protrudes approximately 2 km over the coastline. It is also known for having earned two Michelin Green Guide Japon stars.
Around Ohno Kame is a place where tobishimakanzo grow in cluster. About 500,000 flowers are in full bloom around May, which is a beautiful extensive view that looks like an all-yellow carpet.
Every year on the second Sunday of June, Sado Kanzo Festival takes place. The main attractions of the festival are a type of traditional performing arts "Odaiko" and Sado’s folk song "Sado Okesa," which are performed for such purposes as attaining huge harvests of the five grains.
