Misaki horses at Cape Toi

Cape Toi locates on the southernmost portion of Miyazaki prefecture. On the cape are hundreds of horses, roaming freely on the grassy area. The horses, called the Misaki horse, are native to the Cape Toi area and can only be found there.

At the Cape Toi Lighthouse at the tip of the cape, you can climb up to the observatory for a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
