The Cape Toi Lighthouse sits on the tip of Cape Toi in Miyazaki prefecture. The lighthouse is one of the few in Japan, and the only one in Kyushu, that can be climbed up.

The sotetsu palm tree, a tree designated as a national natural monument, surrounds the lighthouse. From the observatory, you can get a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.
