Usa Shiokaze Park

Usa Shiokaze Park is located in Tosa City, Kochi Prefecture. A park, that is about 20 minutes by car from Kochi City, with a large whale monument of a whale family at the entrance.
Many whale watching ships dock and deport from the Usa Port because a large amount of whales lives in the Tosa bay. This makes for a perfect whale watching spot.
Not only is it a perfect place to use as a rest stop after driving, it has a roofed barbeque area, which is perfect for the summer time.
The “Usa Port Festival”, which is held in August, is a festival that was created from the Great Fishing Prayer Festival and the Marine Memorial Festival. Events such as the Yosakoi Naruko Dance and the Ejima Dance are held, which are dances to bring wealth and prosperity for the year.
