Hamada Sake Brewery

[Hamada Sake Brewery] is located in Ichikikushikino City, the western part of Kagoshima Prefecture. Established in 1868, it is a long-established sake brewery that handles authentic shochu.
Hamda Sake Brewery is a place where the history of Satsuma is preserved, and the culture is handed down along with shochu making.
It has three warehouses: “Denbei”, [Denzo Inkura] and [Satsuma Kinzangura].
Denbei is a “traditional” warehouse that recreates the original structure. The Ginzo brewery is an “innovation” warehouse dedicated to making authentic shochu.
Satsuma kinzangura is the only warehouse in Kagoshima where shochu is made in the tunnel.
Since each brewery has different characteristics, it seems to be able to handle various flavors of shochu. You can buy shochu at Denbeizo and Satsuma Kinzangura, which is the perfect spot for buying souvenirs.
Each store holds events regularly.
