Lake Motosuko

Lake Motsuko locates on the northwestern side of Mount Fuji, and is the deepest of the Fuji Five Lakes with a depth of 122 meters. The waters of Lake Motosuko are famous for its amazing transparency. Visitors can snorkel and dive into the lake during the warmer months. The drawing of Mount Fuji on the ¥1000 bill is said to be inspired by the view from Lake Motosuko.
