Sansenin
Sansenin
Sansenin is located at the heart of Kyoto City in Ukyo Ward Ohara. This temple was built with the best procedures from 782 to 806. Because this temple went through multiple transfers and name changes, it took many months and years until the name, Sansenin, was set in 1871. Inside the grounds, national treasures, such as Amida Buddha Sanson, and a drawn out scenery of the foot of Fuji, Gotenba night view, are on display. It is also characterized by more than 18 rich events held annually. We pray for five grains richness and disease-free disaster of February, and daikon radish that was picked up in the "midday noon daikoni" behaves, and at "Mantoue" held in October, world peace and prayers for fulfilling various wishes 1,000 candles filled with light illuminate the ground. When visiting, make sure to check these events out!
