Isso Beach

Isso Beach on the island of Yakushima, is a strikingly beautiful beach that has once been nominated as Kagoshima prefecture’s most beautiful beach.
Here, you can swim, snorkel and dive. In the sea are coral reefs and colorful tropical fishes, and you might be able to swim with sea turtles on lucky days.
There is a free shower and changing room by the beach. Isso Beach is open in July and August, after the sea turtles are done laying their eggs between late May and July.
