Koiwai Farm

Koiwai Farm locates in the town of Shizukuishi in central Iwate prefecture. The spacious farm, located by the foot of Mount Iwate boasts an area of 30 square kilometers.
At the farm, visitors can play with animals such as ponies, cow and sheep, and experience farm activities such as butter churning.
The food at Koiwai Farm is made from fresh ingredients grown there. Its famous soft serve uses fresh milk. The lunch menus at the café and restaurant use eggs and meat that are grown in the farm.
The Koiwai Winter Illumination is a popular event during the cooler months. A 45-meter long rainbow light tunnel is set up, and fireworks are launched into the winter sky.
