Choshi Port Tower

Choshi Port Tower, on the northeastern coast of Chiba prefecture, gives a great view of the ocean and the city of Choshi.
The observatory sits at 57.7 meters above ground level. The building is 4 stories tall, with a souvenir shop on the first floor and an exhibition room on the second floor. The exhibition room has different displays throughout the year.
From the observatory on the fourth floor, you can see Choshi Port. Choshi Port is famous for having the most catch in all of Japan.
Between December 1 and the 25th, an illumination event is held at Choshi Port Tower. During this time, the whole observatory floor is illuminated with blue lighting.
