Geibikei Gorge

Geibikei Gorge locates in the southernmost area of Iwate prefecture. The 2-kilometer long gorge has been chosen as one of Japan’s 100 scenic sites, and shows beauty year-round. The gorge boat ride is particularly popular. In the spring, you can have a tea party on the boat, and during the winter the boat has heated kotatsu seats. The 90-minute ride is filled with stunning views.
