"Happo" Ridge is located in Hakuba Village, Northern Nagano Prefecture. You can enjoy trekking, mountain climbing, alpine plants and autumn leaves as well as immerse yourself in winter skiing and snowboarding at the Hakuba Happo Ridge Ski Resort. The slope where powder snow accumulates against the mountains of the Northern Alps is the attraction of this ski resort. There is also a children's park that supports children who are skiing for the first time, starting from putting their ski shoes on. In 2014, a hot spring facility opened in this area.
