Rinrinkan is located in Towa Town, in the northern part of Miyagi Prefecture. It is a roadside station in a nature-rich town inhabited by Genji fireflies.
The facility has a main building, restaurant and sales corner. On the first floor of the main building there is a display of locally made woodwork and ceramics for sale.Oon the second floor, there is a space that can be used as a meeting room or training room. In the restaurant dishes using local ingredients are popular. There is"Abura Fudon", a specialty of in Tome City and "Hatto" from Miyagi Prefecture.Be sure to check out the limited menu that changes every month.! At the sales corner, you can purchase fresh vegetables and homemade lunches. There are plenty of take-out and stand-to-eat corners. This is the perfect road stop for driving breaks and lunches. Nearby is Masubuchigawa, which is designated as a national natural monument. From late June to early July, it is a popular spot where you can see the dancing fireflies in their habitat.
