The Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of History locates in the city of Fukuyama on the southeastern coast of Hiroshima prefecture. The museum specializes in the history of the Seto Inland Sea area. In particular, the museum takes on researching the ancient town of Kusado-sengen-cho, which thrived during the 14th to 16th century but then mysteriously vanished.
