Oginoya Honten

Oginoya Honten locates in front of JR Yokokawa Station in Gunma prefecture. The shop was established in 1885, and they sell the famous Toge-no-Kamameshi rice bowl dish. It is sold as an “eki-ben”, or a station bento box, and is commonly eaten on longer train rides. The rice bowl is cooked with bamboo shoots, burdock root, chestnuts and more. You can purchase the bento box also inside the station and in other place throughout the Yokokawa area.
