Jigokudani Yaen-Koen

Jigokudani Yaen-Koen
The Jigokudani Yaen-Koen is where you can see the snow monkeys bathing in a hot spring. This is the only park in Japan where you can see the bathing monkeys, and is a rare sight worldwide as well. The monkeys are often referred to as the “snow monkeys”, after being named so by an American magazine. At the nearby hot springs facility, Gorakukan, you might be able to bathe with the monkeys if lucky.
