Lake Kawaguchiko is one of the Fuji Five Lakes located at the foot of Mount Fuji. In the spring, about 300 cherry blossoms decorate the street along the lake. In the summer, it hosts the largest fireworks festival of the lake area. Visit in the autumn months too to see over 500 trees change colors and decorate the lake. Near the lake are many activities such as cherry or strawberry picking, and the famous amusement park Fuji Q Highland. Lake Kawaguchiko is a family-friendly destination that can be enjoyed year-round.
