Kanpuzan Rotating Observatory

At the Kanpuzan Rotating Observatory, you can admire the view of the Oga Peninsula’s coast. The observatory makes a full rotation in 13 minutes, and during that time you can see all of the mountains and the coastal area of the Oga Peninsula. Inside the observatory is an exhibit where you can learn about the history of the Oga Peninsula and its natural environment. Also inside, there is a restaurant that serves local foods made with local ingredients.
