Moegi Building
Moegi Building
The Moegi Building, known for its light yellowish green walls, is one of the buildings within the Kitano Ijin Buildings of Kobe City. This building was built in 1903 as the residence for American consul general, Panter Sharp. Upon becoming a designated Important Cultural Property in 1980, the building was restored to its original appearance, and has kept the same look ever since. Pay attention to the extremely detailed interior, such as the mantelpiece and arabesque patterned stairs in each room and the matching bay-window. You can enjoy a spectacular view of the town of Kobe from the sun room on the second floor.
