Takabocchi Highlands

Takabocchi Highlands locates between the cities of Okaya and Shiojiri in Nagano prefecture. The highlands measure 1,665 meters high, and from here you can see a breathtaking view of the Japanese Alps, Mount Fuji, Lake Suwa and the city of Suwa.
In the early morning hours between September and March, you might be able to catch a view of the sea of clouds. You can see Mount Fuji peeking above from the sea of clouds.
From Takabocchi Highlands, you can see Japan’s top four mountains, Mount Fuji, Mount Kita, Mount Okuhotaka and Mount Aino. Within recent years, it has grown as a popular spot for couples.
