The Yokkaichi Industrial Complex locates in the city of Yokkaichi in Mie prefecture’s northern region. Though the city was once struggling with pollution issues from the industrial complex, the conditions have improved drastically in recent years.
The industrial complex is packed with factories, and at night, the lit-up industrial sites create a surprisingly beautiful view. With smoke produced from the factories and the bright lights of each plant, the view is stunning and dream-like.
From the observatory at Umi Terrace 14, you can get an amazing view of Yokkaichi Industrial Complex. You can also go on a night cruise from Yokkaichi Port and admire the view from the sea.
