Misotsuchi Icicles

Misotsuchi Icicles is a winter spectacle in the city of Chichibu, Saitama. The icicles can be seen between mid-January and mid-February.
At the venues, you can see both natural and manmade icicles. The natural icicles are smaller than the man-made ones, but are unique since they differ in shape and size every year.
After sunset, the icicles are lit up. The lights change colors every 20 minutes and gives the icicles a romantic flair.
For a warm snack, visit Café Woodroof located near the venue. There, you can taste Chichibu specialties such as Miso Potato and Miso Konnyaku and warm up with drinks like amazake and coffee.
