Sasagawa-nagare Coast
Sasagawa-nagare Coast
Sasagawa-nagare Coast locates in northern Niigata prefecture. The coast measures around 11 kilometers long, and has been designated as a national scenic site. The name of the coastal area comes from the village of Sasagawa, which existed until 1889. The area is known for the beautiful view of the Sea of Japan and its sunset. Enjoy the view of the coast from the sea on a boat. The boat ride tours through the rocky areas of the coast, allowing tourists to see the unique rocks up close. In July, the Sasagawa Fireworks Fesival is held, where over 100,000 fireworks are shot into the night sky.
