Yasukuni Shrine Honden

Yasukuni-jinja Shrine

Yasukuni-jinja Shrine is a familiar name all around the world. The shrine opened in 1869 to revere those who lost their lives in wars. Though the Shinto shrine faces much political controversies over its enshrined war criminals, it boasts a stunning façade. Spring at Yasukuni is a beauty as well, with its bounty of cherry blossom trees throughout the premises.
