National Diet Building front view exterior

National Diet Building

The National Diet Building in Tokyo is where Japanese politics come to life. It was the tallest building during its time when it was built in 1936 and the sophisticated architecture was praised as well. To the left is the House of Representatives, and the right is the House of Councilors. Both provide free guided tours.
