Tsubaki Grand Shrine locates in Suzuka City, Mie prefecture, well known for having the Suzuka International Racing Course. Enshrined here is the deity Sarutahiko-no-oomikami, said to guide people and events into good fortune. This shrine is the main shrine of over 2,000 shrines throughout Japan that enshrine Sarutahiko-no-oomikami. The shrine is said to have been established around 2,000 years ago. In the shrine grounds, there are many tsubaki (camellia) flowers.
Many people make the visit to this shrine annually, which is said to grant fortune in travel safety and business prosperity.
