Meganebashi Bridge
Meganebashi bridge is located in the central area of Nagasaki city in Nagasaki prefecture. This arched stone bridge crosses over Nagashima Lake. The back story behind this bridge of the relation between China and Kofukuji Temple makes an impact on people's impressions. The name Meganebashi, or Glasses Bridge, comes from the image of the reflection of the bridge against the water. The reflections makes two perfect circles, which looks like a pair of glasses. You can view the bridge from up top or from the lakeside. The reflection is best seen on sunny days with no wind. There are a couple of heart-shaped stones on the bridge that will grant love if touched. Although this bridge is in the city, you can enjoy a relaxing time along the bridge. How nice would it be to enjoy a warm cup of coffee along the bridge.
