Roadside Station Biei « Shirogane Birke »

Roadside Station Biei, Shirogane Birke, is located in Biei town of Kamikawa sub-prefecture in central Hokkaido. The forest of Birke, a german word which means white birches, brightens up the interior of the facility, where you can find the Information Center, various shops and restaurants.
Many people stop here to visit Biei town’s significant sightseeing spots nearby, such as "Shirogane Onsen (natural bath)" and "Blue Pond" to look for information or to take a lunch break.
Another feature of this Roadside Station is that you can enjoy activities in contact with the beautiful nature of Biei. In the Lawn Area, you can enjoy the great nature freely along with hammocks, table tennis and more. In the winter time, you can try winter activities including snowbikes or snowmobiles.
