Built in 1919, Kyu-Furukawa Gardens once belonged to entrepreneur Furukawa Toranosuke before being opened to the public in 1956. The area comprises of a Western style garden and building on one half and a Japanese style garden on the other. The rose garden of the premises is particularly well known.
