Shirakane Brewery

"Shirakane Brewery" is a Honkaku Shochu brewery located in Aira city of Kagoshima prefecture.
Established in 1869, it is known as the oldest Shochu manufacturer in Kagoshima, yet inheriting the handmade process since its foundation.
Along with the methods, the natural environment is also an important factor for producing high quality Satuma Shochu.
The fresh water along with the clear air flowing from the surrounding mountains makes Aira an ideal spot for this purpose.
