Lake Onuma locates in the city of Maebashi in Gunma prefecture. The caldera lake rests on the top of Mount Akagi, and is stunning throughout the year.

The fall season is especially beautiful, when the leaves begin to change colors. You can enjoy the fall colors by going on a boat around the lake. In the winter, the lake is completely frozen, and you can go wakasagi (Japanese smelt) fishing.
