Mount Akagi is a 1,800-meter mountain locating in Gunma prefecture. On the mountain is a shrine, Akagi-jinja, and the shrine and the mountain is celebrated by locals a holy place.

At Shirakaba Farm, azaleas garnish the mountain with beautiful red flowers every June to July. On the top of the mountain, there is Lake Onuma, a beautiful spot for the fall foliage and a winter fishing location as well.
