Kochi Travel Plaza

In the heart of Kochi Prefecture's Kochi City, walk from the JR Kochi South Exit and you will quickly find the spacious "Kochi Travel Plaza".  You will definitely want to visit this spot if you come to Kochi Prefecture for sightseeing.
In this open area, a tourist information center called "Tosaterasu" is set up to support tourists travelling to Kochi. Here, you can find information on lodging, purchase transportation tickets, and find more information about sightseeing in the seven regions of Kochi.
There is also a exhibit set up in Kochi Plaza regarding the famous hero of Kochi, Sakamoto Ryoma. At  "Bakumatsu Patriot Troupe", the building used for Ryoma's house in the NHK Taiga Drama "Ryomaden", you can wear Japanese clothing and take a picture in memory of your visit.
Additionally, you can find special Kochi souvenirs lined up at "Tosaya". On Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, you can see various shows take place on the event page at this engaging spot. If your travels take you to Kochi, make sure to visit!
