Rice ball stand Kudo
Rice ball stand Kudo
“Rice ball Stand Kudo”, located in Ito-gun, Wakayama Prefecture, is a rice ball stand that opened on the platform of Kudoyama station in November 2019, at the same time as the Kudoyama station building renovations. You can have a rice ball using local Kudoyama rice, cooked slowly in a traditional rice pot. The fluffy rice, cooked over a wood fire, is complemented by seasonal ingredients of Wakayama prefecture. The selections change seasonally and daily, and this creates an ever-changing variety that makes this place popular to visitors. Kudo prides itself in making each rice ball one by one after your order. Please try the carefully-made Wakayama seasonal and tasty rice balls. Each rice ball is made with great care and effort, and are a great way to experience Wakayama Prefecture's seasonal flavors. Kudoyama Station is the beginning point of the pilgrimage route "Choishimichi" to the sacred site of Japanese Buddhism "Koyasan", and a popular stopping place for sightseers to Koyasan. How about stopping by to charge up on energy to walk to Koyasan, or recharge your tired body as a reward after the Koyasan pilgrimage?
