Kamawanu Daikanyama Main Branch is located in the Daikanyama area of Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. It is a specialty Tenugui shop opened in 1987 and operated by the Tenugui brand "Kamawanu". Tenugui are a traditional multi-purpose textile used for wrapping, wiping, and many other daily purposes. Kamawanu designs and distributes such Tenugui in many unique patterns. Not only are there classical designs deeply rooted in Japanese culture, but also seasonal and modern original designs that will motivate you to carry them every day. A great thing about Kamawanu's Tenugui, is that they are crafted with gifting in mind. They have traditional designs for celebratory occasions, timely designs for seasonal greetings, and many other unique patterns for all kinds of people. They are greatly recommendable gift and souvenir ideas. In addition to Tenugui, there are other fabric items such as a furoshiki, handkerchiefs, and plastic bottle holder and stamp books, all made from using Tenugui cloth.
