Hinatami Yakushido Temple was founded in 1598, and the architecture reflects the styles from those days. This temple is the oldest in Gunma prefecture, and was designated a National Treasure in 1912 and a National Important Cultural Property in 1950. Visiting this temples is said to be good for recovering from illness and wishing for health.
