Lake Okushima is a dammed lake with stunningly transparent waters. The area is enjoyable all year round, with activities and comfortable weather in the spring and summer, the fall foliage in the autumn and a snowy onsen experience during the winter. Take a 10-minute drive and take a bath at Shima Onsen, one of Gunma prefecture’s representative hot spring spots. The onsen town is retro and relaxing.
