Aqua World Aquarium, located in the city of Oarai, is home to sharks, dolphins, sea otters, penguins, jellyfish and much more. Around 580 species and 68,000 animals live in the aquarium. Additionally they keep the biggest number of sharks in Japan. At the museum built in the aquarium, visitors can learn about the history of sea life and sea creatures. Events and programs including dolphin shows and penguin exhibitions captivate spectators of all ages.
