Umi-jigoku is the largest hot springs facility in Beppu. However, the cobalt blue waters are at almost-boiling temperatures and are never to be entered. The footbath located in the facility is free of charge. You can enjoy a post-onsen pudding that is steamed from the hot spring's steam for just ¥300.
