Takaragawa Onsen locates in the Tone district of Gunma prefecture. It was chosen as the “Best Riverside Onsen” by Lonely Planet in their “Top 10 hot springs in Japan” list. Osenkaku is the accommodation site at Takaragawa Onsen. Its four rotemburo (outdoor baths) are spacious and perfect for a day of relaxation. The baths locate right by Takaragawa River, and are surrounded by Tone’s lush nature. Three out of the four rotemburo are co-ed baths. You can rent out a bath gown or a bath towel to cover up. There is one women-only bath too, for those who would prefer that.
