Tokugawa Garden
Tokugawa Garden
Tokugawa Garden in Nagoya was built in 1695 as a villa for Tokugawa Mitsutomo, a feudal lord. Though most of the original garden was destroyed during the Second World War, a majority of it was rebuilt and opened to the public in 2004 as a traditional Japanese garden. The cherry blossoms in the garden are particularly a hit, and the garden swarms with visitors every spring. With a restaurant and even a bar inside the garden grounds, you can enjoy a day of tradition and serenity at Tokugawa Garden.
