Mount Hakkoda is well known in Japan and worldwide for its amazing powder snow. At Hakkoda Ropeway Ski Resort, there are five different slopes of different levels for all skiers to enjoy. The ski season at Mount Hakkoda is generously long, lasting from mid December to mid May. Visit in January or February to witness the "snow monster" phenomenon!
