Lake Kumoba

Lake Kumoba, located about 20 minutes by foot from Karuizawa Station, is beautiful, clear lake that acts as a mirror for its surrounding forest. The fall foliage is particularly scenic, with all of the leaves on the surrounding forest trees changing into hues of reds and oranges. The lake is perfect for a walk too, since walking around it takes only about 15 minutes.
