AER Observation Deck

The AER Observation Deck in Sendai is located on the 31st floor of the AER building. There are two terraces in the building, one on the western side and one on the eastern side. From the western side, you can see Sendai’s shopping streets with Mount Izumigatake and Mount Taihaku in the background. The view from the eastern side allows visitors to gaze at the Pacific Ocean and the shinkansen bullet trains. After sunset, both observation decks turn into a mini-planetarium, with lasers displaying stars on the ceilings.
