The Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium is home to over 50,000 sea creatures of about 500 different species. The North Building has the theme “A journey spanning 3.5 billion years: Animals that have returned to the seas”, and shows animals (mostly Cetaceans) that have survived throughout history. In the South Building, you can experience a “Journey to the Atlantic” and find penguins, deep-sea creatures and more. You can also participate in interactive activities, like feeding the animals and watching them train.
