Tsutenkaku Tower

Tsutenkaku Tower

Tsutenkaku Tower is located in the downtown area in Shinsekai of southern Osaka City. It was named with the meaning "high building leading to the sky". Its popular symbol is the statue of the god of happiness, "Biriken-san", and it is said that happiness will come to you if you when you touch a sole of the statue. The panoramic view of Osaka from the 5th floor attracts over 1 million tourists annually. In addition, the round illumination at the top offers the weather forecast for the next day by changing its color combination.
