Takachiho Gorge is a stunning creation of nature,from the lava flowing out of nearby Mount Aso. The cliffs of the gorge measure around 80 meters high, and the gorge itself measures about 7 kilometers in length. At the gorge is one of Japan's 100 most beautiful waterfalls, Manai Falls, and many more natural phenomena. Walk around or boat in the gorge for the best experience.
